This new program is FREE for seniors and will include a mobile medley music workout in the park, shuffleboard, and an intro to the putting green. G.A.M. has partnered with Houston Lady Lions Club, WellMed and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® – Xi Alpha Omega Chapter for the launch on Friday, October 18 from 10 am-12:30 pm. They will provide free vision screens and reader glasses for seniors!

Grace Event Lawn
The Grace Event Lawn is located on the south side of Discovery Green, adjacent to the Wortham Foundation Gardens, The Grove restaurant, and Maconda’s Grove. At about one quarter of an acre and surrounded primarily by trees and gardens, the Grace Event Lawn is an ideal space for a medium-sized event. The Lawn is also adjacent to the Transier Bandstand, which can accommodate speakers, a small band, or a DJ.
