Are you ready for your close up?
Discovery Green certainly is! The park is a gorgeous setting and backdrop for amateur and professional photographers alike. Photographs and video at the park for personal use are welcome provided their activity does not restrict public use of an area of the park. Please refer to our Guidelines for Photography and Filming in Discovery Green park before planning a shoot to ensure the protection of the park and the safety of our visitors. Members of the news media are also welcome to photograph or take video for news coverage. If you are working on a news story, please contact our Media Relations Representative.
A permit is required for all photo & video shoots. In order to photograph or film in Discovery Green, you must first submit an application. Upon receipt of your application, you will be notified of the permit fee and arrangements for payment.
Fees
Single photographer $10 per hour (price may increase depending on the details, time and location of the shoot)
Photography team (including fashion shoots) up to 2 hours: $140
Movie, Commercial and Film Shoots: $140/hour. Additional fees for fencing, cleaning crew, & electricity (you must provide your own cables. For 3-phase, you must provide your own licensed electrician).
We reserve the right to modify the quoted fees for use of locations that impose greater restrictions on the public’s enjoyment of the park or greater logistical coordination requirements on our staff.
