Get excited for Khruangbin’s return to Houston with a listening party at The Rink: Rolling at Discovery Green. The trio’s diverse and eclectic cinematic mix of genre-defying, world building sound was created in the Houston melting pot. Recently nominated by the Grammy’s for Best New Artist, the group will play the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on April 12. Ice Rink Events, a Houston-based designer, manufacturer, installer, and operator of ice rinks around the globe, transforms Kinder Lake’s model boat basin into a holiday skating destination each winter season at the park. The expanded rink uses equipment that runs on renewable energy and even the ice rink border is made from recycled plastic materials.
