The TUNNEL creator Paul Magnuson of BIG ART discusses the interactive temporary art installation’s creation as well as his other exciting art projects. Plus, the Discovery Green’s Art Lab inaugural Fellows will be announced. Drinks and mingling at 6 pm. Artist talk begins at 7 pm.

El creador de The TUNNEL, Paul Magnuson, de BIG ART, hablará de la creación de la instalación artística interactiva temporal y de otros proyectos interesantes. Se anunciarán los artistas que participarán en la primera edición del Art Lab (Laboratorio de Arte) de Discovery Green. A las 6 p.m., se ofrecerán bebidas y se abrirá un espacio de convivencia, seguido de una charla artística a las 7 p.m.

Sarofim Picnic Lawn
The Sarofim Picnic Lawn is a wide-open lawn space that is perfect for more than just a picnic. The Lawn is near the John P. McGovern Playground, the Mist Tree, and the Kinder Large Dog and the Harriet and Joe Foster Dog Runs, making it a perfect place for family get-togethers, such as reunions or birthday parties. The Lawn can also accommodate small private corporate events or client receptions. The Lawn has two permanent picnic tables, and borders the Andrea and Bill White Promenade.
